Why Is My Straight Hair Become Wavy And Very Dry After Coloring My Hair And How Can I Get Back My Original Hair Texture?

Question: I am a 33 year old female. I have thick hair which used to be straight but since a year they are turning extremely wavy and very very dry.. This started after I got my hair coloured in May 2017. I tried several different shampoos, conditioners, oiling hair but nothing is helping-hair are becoming drier and wavier with time. I do not use iron or dryer or any heating tools nor have I done any other cosmetic procedure. I am very worried as I used to have good hair. Is there a way I can get back my original hair texture? What products or medicines can I use?I don't have hypothyroidism or PCOD or any other disease.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Perhaps it is due to damage to the hair shaft and vigorous combing. The more you comb and try to straighten them the more damage you are causing to the hair shaft which may add to the problem.
You may continue with the conditioner and a gentle cleansing shampoo.
In addition, I'd suggest you try an oral Biotin supplement for a few months. Avoid repeated combing and use a wide-toothed comb.

Dr can you please recommend a good shampoo conditioner as my existing ones don't seem to be working on my hair. Would like to know if the damage to my hair is temporary or is it irreversible now? Should I use a hair serum and if yes which one? Can cysteine or keratin hair treatments help with my condition and should I opt for them?
