Question: Hi, MY LMP is on 03-JUl, Last month i got period on day 55,My harmone levels are very normal,Doctor said may due to chemical pregnancy, this cycle doctor has prescribed Ovashield,Ecosprin,Glucomet and Folic acid from Day3.On day 5,7,9&11---She prescribed Recagon and Fertigen on day12 as i had 3 follicles and today on day 14 doctor said that all the 3 folicles got ruptured.And from today she prescribed---MIprogen 200 and Duphaston and she prescribed Wysolone5 mg for 14days.I am taking Elthroxine 50mcg to keep thyroid in control--For the past 2 month my TSH profile is normal ,but doctor asked to continue the same
1)What is the use of Wysolone?
2)Will all the prescribed medicine wil result in misconception/miscarriage?
3)If all the 3 Folicles ruptured,is it possible for twins, Is my chances of getting pregnent is high this cycle?
4)When can i test my pregnancy?
5)What is chemical pregnency which doctor said last cycle?
6)what are the precautions to be taken for sustaining pregnancy?
7)Will all thses medicines wil have any Side effects?

Following is my reply :

1) Wysolone is a steroid tablet given to prevent miscarriage.

2) These medicines won't cause miscarriage but prevent to some extent.

3) There is possibility of twin pregnancy.

4) Test for pregnancy on August 10.

5) Biochemical pregnancy is one where in pregnancy is identified by urine or blood test but not seen on ultrasound scan.

6) No extra precautions required.

7) There are no considerable side effects to worry about.
