Question: When swolling a pill the pill will stick to the back of my throat causing me to pass out.why is this happinig.

Detailed Answer:
Hii. Welcome to the healthcare services. Sometimes while taking pill,the pill abrades the posterior part of throat and cause erosion. The area which has been eroded will cause pain,sensation of nausea, foreign body sensation throat. If you are able to take food and water then pill is not stuck anywhere but it has cause some erosion. Take Mucaine gel 10 ml twice daily before food for 1 week. Avoid spicy food, excess tea, coffee. Drink plenty of water preferably cold water. It will settle within 4-5 days. Please review if you have any queries.
