Brief Answer:
I would explain as follows::

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Regarding your concern, I would like to explain that having some elevated blood pressure values, doesn't mean you are suffering form heart failure. Heart failure is a heterogeneous clinical syndrome and functional, clinical and laboratory indicators would determine its presence.

But, from the other side, persistently elevated blood pressure, and long-standing hypertension could lead to cardiac and vascular dysfunction and subsequent heart failure.

Elevated heart rate during physical and psychological stress is considered a normal physiological reaction you shouldn't worry about.

Coming to this point, a reasonable strategy to follow would be to closely monitor your BP values for at least a couple of days and review the average numbers with your doctor.

In addition, several lab tests are recommended to check, like complete blood count, thyroid, liver, adrenal and kidney function tests; check for any glucose metabolism disorders and blood lipid profile. This would help to review potential cardiovascular risk factors.

You should discuss with your doctor on the above mentioned issues.

Hope to have been helpful to you!
