Why My Middle Finger Is Swollen Since 2 Days With Pain When Touched?
Question: my middle finger is swollen since 2 days. it also feels like it has hardened and pains when touched.
it feels like some small particle (like steel scrubber while washing utensils ) has gone inside the skin but I am not sure.
the area near the nail is painful when touched.
the side of the finger has 2 dry spots which r crumbling n have white/yellowish dry skin. pls advice.

Is this is bacterial infection? If yes, will anti biotic medicine work instead of surgery and mine seems to be mild case?

It is mostly a bacterial infection but sometimes it maybe a mix of bacteria and candida. Your case seems to be a mix.
It will definitely require drainage of pus or dark blood from the area. Otherwise nail may get affected.
