Why Severe Pain In My Lower Back On The Right Side?

Question: Hi I am having some pretty severe pain in my lower back on the right side. It has been coming and going for a couple of days but seems to be getting worse. I had some nausea and vomiting earlier but not at the moment. I am just getting over the flu. I’ve had no appetite for a couple of days.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I read your query and here is my advice.
The lower back pain you are having may be related either to kidneys (stones or infection),or to muscular pain due to flu.
Kidney stones can also give nausea and vomiting.
Flu can cause you back pain but it get better as you are getting over flu.
I think you may need to do an urine analysis and an ultrasound of the kidneys.
Take acetaminophen or ibuprofen for pain.
Hope I have answered the question.
Let me know if I can assist you further.\
Thanks.
