Why Should A Dental Crown Be Implantes?

tooth infection, RCT, Crown
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your query, I have gone through your query.
If the tooth is decayed and most of the tooth structure is lost and if the tooth is infected or attrited involving pulp then the tooth has to be root canal treated and crown has to be placed.
After getting the root canal treatment the tooth will become brittle so it should be restored immediately with the crown. Otherwise whenever you eat hard things, there are chances of tooth getting fractured.
Without getting the tooth root canal treated do not go for crown, because in future if you get any tooth infection again then whole procedure has to be repeated.
Consult one more oral physician and take an opinion and a radiograph to rule out the infection, extent of decay and amount of bone support present. If infection is there, if sufficient bone support is there , then get the tooth treated with RCT and crown.
i hope my answer will help you, take care.
if any queries are there reply me back.

RCT, crown
Detailed Answer:
Thank you for your reply.
Prophylactically we do root canal treatment to prevent sensitivity or pain in future. Ideally, the crown has to be removed; root canal treatment has to be done at that time and again crown has to be replaced.
If the decay is not deep, if the tooth structure is fine and there is no wearing away of tooth structure, then you can go for crown without RCT. Looking at your age there will be wearing away of tooth structure. So it's better to go for root canal treatment once for all and get the crown done.
Take care.
