Why Since Last Night I Have Had The Feeling Of A Paper Cut Or Splinter In My Right Pointer Finger?

Question: Since last night, I have had the feeling of a paper cut or splinter in my right pointer finger but I do not see anything there, even with a magnifying glass. Is it possible I have an extremely tiny cut? Or could this be a sign of something else?
Brief Answer:
It’s possible
Detailed Answer:
Dear sir, I have gone through your question and I understand your concerns but i would like to see a photo of your finger attached as a report in a follow up query.. However it could be a tiny break in the skin, I would recommend that you apply an antibiotic ointment three to five times daily to help resolve any possible cuts.. I hope you find this helpful. If you don’t have any other clarifications then please close the discussion.

The white part of the fingernail of the circled finger in this picture is the sensitive area. I think the sensitivity is mainly underneath the nail.
