Brief Answer:
Temporomandibular joint disorder

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Thanks for posting the query

The clicking noise following movements of the jaw is due to the reduction of the jelly-like substance or inflammation in the temporomandibular joint capsule adjacent to the ear. This can be secondary to either improper chewing habits or dental problems.

Do not worry! It is one of the most typical problems people face. The issue can be sorted out with a few home remedies and lifestyle changes.
1. Eat soft food for a week
2. Chew equally on both the sides
3. Get dental issues rectified, if any.
4. Avoid clenching the teeth, if any.

With these measures, the noise should reduce. If the symptoms persist, please get in touch with an apt maxillo-facial surgeon.

I hope this answers your query. Revert if you have any follow-up queries.
