Why Tingles Are Back And They Are Much Worse?

default
Posted on Thu, 28 Nov 2024
Question: On saturday, I had really bad pain in my chest for a few hours and felt exhausted, also my heart rate was pretty high. Then yesterday I was extremely tired and had a weird metal taste in my mouth. Now today, im nauseous, extremely tired, I feel spacey and since the pain in my chest stopped on saturday night, ive been getting chills and sweats. I had covid about a month ago and after it subsided my body tingled like It was asleep. That went away but after saturday, the tingles are back and they are much worse. What is going on?

Brief Answer:
I recommend performing some tests.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

I understand your concern and would explain it is necessary performing some tests in order to investigate on the possible cause underlying your complaints. In this regard, I would recommend these tests:

- a chest x ray study
- a resting ECG and cardiac enzymes
- blood electrolytes
- complete blood count, PCR, ESR for inflammation
- thyroid hormone levels for thyroid gland dysfunction
- vitamin D and vitamin B12 plasma levels for possible deficiency.

The chils and sweats could be indicative of inflammation or infection. The chest pain and arrhythmia need further cardiac investigation ( like the above mentioned).

Hope you will find this information helpful!

I remain at your disposal in case of further questions whenever you need!

Kind regards,
