Why White Part Of My Right Eye Seems To Be Encroaching Slightly Onto The Black Part?

Question: The white part of my right eye seems to be encroaching slightly onto the black part. I’ve attached a link with an image of my eye for reference. I’m not sure when it began, but I’ve been noticing it for the past year.

This looks like a pterygium which is a mass in the outer layer of the eye and this needs surgery with grafting.
