Question: I have this rash but I have not been on the grass where poison ivy is even though it looks like poison ivy bumps. Could you suggest what it might be?

Brief Answer:
Possible diagnosis:contact dermatitis

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

I would be able to give an accurate answer if you could attach the picture of rash.

However, since you are describing the rash as 'poison ivy bumps', it could possibly be contact dermatitis.
Contact dermatitis happens when your skin comes in contact with any triggering factors causing an allergic reaction.
There are several triggering factors for contact dermatitis like latex, rubber, grass, poison ivy, poison sumac, detergents, soap, dyes etc. Please try to identify any specific triggering factor for you and avoid coming into contact with it.
Continue using Cortizone ointment and Zertek

If you continue to have the symptoms after few days, follow-up with your primary care provider/ dermatologist. You might need oral steroid therapy and undergo allergic testing.

Hope I was able to help you
