Brief Answer:
Have you done a colonoscopy?

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

Constant urge to have a bowel movement with no bowel movements requires proper investigation. We normally feel this urge when the rectum where stool is stored is stretched. Feeling urge with no bowel movements might suggest that there is hard stool, an inflammation or a growth. This requires examination.

If you have been having your colonoscopies as recommended, then you are fine. If you have not, take this opportunity to get one. Also, I will strongly recommend that you get at least a physical evaluation as laxatives haven't proved helpful.

I hope this works out for you.
