Doctor, i spoke to my daughter and these are her medications. Poprol XL 25 for blood pressure. Prilosec 40 for acid reflux. Qvar 40 for asthma (1-2 puffs as needed).
The other two meds are 1 per day. She Has no urinary issues. She is a single mom of a 5 year old. She had a hernia and had the mesh put in last year. She had to have it redone several months ago with no further problems. She is not sexually active. Her menstrual flow is normal, 5 days in length since age 11. No vaginal discharge. She is 5 feet tall and weighs approximately 250 pounds. She works as a pharmacist, some 12 hour long days. She has had a CT scan of her throat because it felt tight, x rays of her back and chest, all with negative results. The reoccurring back pain, shortness of breath, accompanying diarrhea, and a general sense of not feeling good is her major issue.

Brief Answer:
Evaluation of diarrhea, back ache respiratory & heart health is needful.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for the information I have gone through it.
Usually loose motions, diarrhea & short breath are rare components of a single health problem. let us go through causes of each &then try to solve the problem.
1. Diarrhea .. it can be viral, bacterial , worm infestations ,food intollerances (allergies)
2.back ache can be due to ... bony weakness (calcium /vitamin deficiency),muscular weakness-due to lack of exercises,) /excess weight./ joint or disc problems in back./possible irritation of muscles by mesh in hernia repair.
3.shortness of breath can be due to asthma, high blood pressure related heart problem or
side effect.of toprl xl.
* So her combination of symptom might be either
- Loose motions( specially viral or milk allergy) induced bloating of abdomen causing increased abdominal pressure on diaphragm( resulting in short breaths) nerves supplying back muscles( back muscle spasms)
*In such a case each symptom can be different origin.OR due to bloating following diarrhea causing pressure on diaphragm. or back muscles to cause short breath &back ache.
**In this context she needs-
* expert advise for her loose motions by a gastroenterologist./discussion about CHANGED dosage or medication for her high blood pressure medicine.
* detailed evaluation of each factor by expert followed by cause specific treatment .
I hope that satisfies you. Any follow up query is welcome.
Thanks.
