My brother have hameturia in his bladder doctors endoscopy and blocked the abnormal vein which was going to the small mass which is inside the bladder, Mass was bengin which was done through biopsy, its been 2 days now after blocking the vein but my brother can still see the blood in his urine
i have just attached all the current reports which was done last month. Now he can see more blood then before
Possibility of bolus being dislodged ( slipped off) has to be ruled out
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for query .
Based on the facts that and relevant reports that you have posted your brother has a Vascular Malformation in badder and abnormal communication was being blocked by embolization of a feeding vessels 2 days back However he still he has gross hematuria
There are two possibilities that can cause recurrence of hematuria
1) Either he has other abnormal communicating channel which has opened up after first procedure or
2) The Gel foam bolus which was placed to block the channel has slipped off .
Wait for few days and if hematuria continues he may need to go for selective angiography and repeat embolization if required .
Hope I have answered your query ,please feel free to ask if you have more questions,I shall be happy to help you
Thanks and Regards.

It is only Selective Angiography that can detect AV malformation
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for follow up .
MRI or CT scan can not detect AV malformation .It is only selective angiography that detects AV Malformation .
AV Malformation is just like a mesh of multiple vessels and it is not uncommon that another channel can open after closing one which is clearly visible during procedure,It sometimes becomes mandatory to repeat the procedure of embolization if repeat angiography reveals development of new communicating (Feeder vessel) channel .
Do not worry the things usually get resolved after repeat embolization which is inevitable

Could be small hematoma at the site of puncture
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for follow up .
Black spots at the site of surgery are most likely small hematoma in subcutaneous plane at the site where a puncture is made to pass the catheter in Femoral Artery .
There is nothing to be worried It will get absorbed within a week ,
