Question: Wife has sharp pain in lower right side shooting to her back right side near abdomen. Stomach felt hot, felt shaky, right leg felt heavy. Now feels very "aloof."

* As per my surgical experience, sharp pain lower abdomen with radiation to back can
be due to possible gravels or calculus in the urinary system.

Kindly provide me further details so that I can answer your query completely.

1. Associated nausea, vomiting if any ?
2. Alteration in urination ?
3. Was urinary system evaluated thoroughly during ultrasound or it was just for gall
bladder function ?

Meanwhile, you can give her proton pump inhibitor as omeprazole with sips of water on empty stomach and tablet acetaminophen after meals for primary relief.

Thank you Doctor. Nausea, no vomiting. Her urinary system was not evaluated via ultrasound. Btw her B-12 is extremely high without taking supplements. She is having more tests run in the next couple days.

Also, she gets quite nauseated after almost every meal. She seems to feel better with a light workout followed by drinking a lot of water, but thereafter is she eats anything she feels ill. Thank you.
