Will MDMA Intake Effect A Labiaplasty Surgery?
Question: Hi my friend is going away on the 26th of Nov til the 3rd of Dec and has a minor surgical procedure (labiaplasty) on the 14th of Dec. She was wondering if taking MDMA would affect the surgery at all?

Any drug like MDMA should be stopped at least 1 week before a surgical procedure including labioplasty. This is to prevent any complications with anesthesia. Since anesthesia takes a week to wean off in most patients, it is suggested that she also avoids taking MDMA for 1 week after the procedure.
She should not take any drug from 1 week before and till 1 week after the procedure.
