Question: My daughter's ear is plugged with wax and we are leaving for vacation by chance will the chlorine help dissolve or soften the wax?

Yes , chlorinated water will dissolve or soften the wax but it will also soften and wrinkle the skin lining the ear canal, leaving it vulnerable to the slightest infection.

use ear drop to soften wax like Debrox or Murine Ear Wax Removal drop.
