possible complications
Detailed Answer:
Hi
I am Dr Mittal.
I have read your message.
I think I can help you.
First, any infection is tougher to treat in a case of diabetes.
So you really need to take your diabetes medicines regularly.
If the sugars are well controlled, the infection would heal fast.
The problem otherwise is that the infection can spread.
Herpes is known to cause multiple range of problems inclusive of
viral meningitis,
viral encephalitis,
viral meningoencephalitis,
seizure disorder,
renal failures,
severe neuropathy,
neuropathic severe pain,
and possible mortality
are some of the commonest problems that may occur.
I hope that the information answers your question.
Best of luck, Dr Mittal
