Will Ginette Help In Treating Irregular Periods?

Question: Hi, I have irregular periods. m married and planning for a baby. got to know i have pcos .went for consultation and my doc gave me metformin(obimet sr 500mg) and ginette35. asked me to take it for 3 months. will i get pregnant after this.. pls help m really worried day by day !!!!!

Ginette 35 is birth control pill, given to you to regularize your periods and will also help to lower down your hormone levels to promote ovulation after it is stopped.

Metformin will help to reduce the insulin resistance, and will help you loose weight, thus will also promote ovulation.

So there are high chances that you may conceive after this.

Apart from this you need to do regular excercise like brisk walking or jogging for 30-45mins, to help reduce weight.

This is necessary as body fat converts estrogen to androgen which hampers ovulation. So the lesser the fat, the better will be your ovulation.
