Will It Help To Get My Ferritin Levels Up Quickly Or Do I Need Higher Dosage Iron Supplements?

Question: hi,

I am low on ferritin and recently recovered from vitamin d3 deficiency. still on medication for d3 once a month and on iron supplements.
My iron,RBC and haemoglobin are normal and only the ferritin is at 15.9%. What can be the reason for it and how long does it take to get my levels up. I am taking livogen tablet as per my doctor's advice whose elemental iron is 50mg. Will it help to get my ferritin levels up quickly or do I need higher dosage?
