Will Pop Beverages Increase Risk Of Diabetes?

Question: friend of mine had diabetes due to too much drink coke, my question is can this happen to me? my age is 54.
Brief Answer:
Yes
Detailed Answer:
Dear patient,
Thanks for the great question. Absolutely. The risk with pop beverages is remarkable. Just one soda a day, yes one soda, increases your risk of diabetes by 22%! Please read the link I attach:

Diet drinks also are associated with risk, but less. Best bet? Natural juices, water or sparkling water without additives.
Hope that helps, wish you the best,
