Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thank you for the query on this platform. I can understand your concern. According to your statement, you want to take sea moss gunnies along with your currently using medication metoprolol and you are concerned about the possibility of interactions between them.
First of all, there is no interaction has found between metoprolol and sea moss gunnies. But, metoprolol is a cardio selective beta-1 adrenergic blocker that is used to reduce blood pressure. On the other hand, sea moss gunnies are a good source of iodine and omega-3 fatty acid as well as also can reduce blood pressure.
So, some studies have shown that using of sea moss or seaweed along with antihypertensive medications can significantly lower your blood pressure. Just aware of that and don't take more than one tea spoon full daily. So, you can take sea moss gunnies along with your metoprolol with precautions.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thank you for joining again. I am extremely sorry for late reply. According to the international guideline, it is recommended to take sea moss gunnies not more than one tea spoon daily. Because I have already mentioned that sea moss gunnies or seaweed contains iodine. Excess taking of iodine may cause underactive thyroid or hyperthyroidism in the long run. Again, sea moss gunnies can help to lower your blood pressure as you are on antihypertensive medication metoprolol.
So, take sea moss gunnies not more than one tea spoon to avoid any unwanted complications in the near future and monitor your blood pressure regularly.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
