Question: I have just been prescribed Lyrica for neuropathy pain. I currently take lamictal as an aed I also use medical marijuans because I have brain cancer and want the cancer-killing effects of cannabis to help prevent recurrence. SDo you think there will be a problem with taking 2 different. Also curious to know if there might be anything to watch out for with the cannabis and Lyrica, I have 2 other meds that i am concerned about adding to thos mix. 1mg ativan at bedtime and merbetriq at bedtime. I sound like a drug addict@

Brief Answer:
Stop having ativan and cannabis while taking lyrica

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Using cannabis together with Lyrica which contains pregabalin may increase side effects such as dizziness, drowsiness, confusion and difficulty concentrating.

Also you have to avoid activities requiring mental alertness such as driving or operating hazardous machinery

Ativan which contains lorazepam also reacts with lyrica causing side effects such as dizziness, drowsiness, confusion and difficulty concentrating.

Myrbetriq and lyrica causes side effects such as constipation, increased blood pressure and back pain.

So i would advise you to stop taking cannabis, ativan and Myrbetriq

You can replace ativan with alprazolam and Myrbetriq with Tamsulosin

You can consult your local doctor regarding it
