Will Vaginal Flatulence During Intercourse Hurt My Baby? I Am

Question: Will vaginal flatulence during intercourse hurt my baby? I am 8 weeks pregnant
Brief Answer:
Flatulence during intercourse will not hurt or harm baby.
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear, welcome to Ask a doctor service.
I read your query and here is my advice.
The intercourse itself and all the events which happen during it are physiological and normal. Even the vaginal flatulence is normal and will not hurt the baby.
Intercourse should not be interrupted in pregnancy except some medical conditions such placenta previa or dilated column uteri. In this case doctor will advice you to stop intercourse. So as a conclusion flatulence during intercourse will not hurt or harm baby.
Hope I have answered the question.
Let me know if I can assist you further.

Ok thank you. Kept reading about air embolism and was worried the extra pushed air could hurt the babies brain or development
Brief Answer:
Embolism only in placenta previa.
Detailed Answer:
Thank you for asking again. The embolism can happen only if there exists an open blood vessel if you have bleeding, or in case of placenta previa I mentioned above
You can be sure.
Wishing you good health.
Best regards..
