Question: Woke up 3am eastern and felt like my heart was racing. Checked BP with Qardio and it was 154/87 pulse 78. Have been checking time to time last couple of hours and its still 154/92 pulse 78. I’m on 2.5 mg of Lisinopril. Wondering if I should just try to relax, take a walk, or head to ER?

Brief Answer:
Nothing to worry

Detailed Answer:
Hello

After going through the medical details provided by you I can understand your concern and I would like to tell you that the BP reading which you have mentioned I just slightly elevated and there is no emergency for heading to an ER.

You can just relax and try to go back to sleep. Also I would like to suggest you that it’s very important that you should start following healthy lifestyle routine along with your medications.

Kind Regards
