Brief Answer:
Nicotine replacement

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

According to the history you provide in COPD, it is very important to stop smoking. If you have had difficulties with Chantix you can try nicotine replacement therapy. It is used in several forms like chewing gum and patches on the skin, inhalers and spray. It has almost less side effects than Chantix itself and are more localized.

However, it would be better for you to discuss the above with your treating doctor because he / she knows better about your actual clinical situation.

I hope to have been helpful.
