Would Cortisone Cream Help Treat Itchiness, Dry Flaky Skin And Cuts On The Penis?

Question: After having sex with my gf i realized cuts on my penis i went and got polysporin and neosporine to treat the cuts and it seemed to work however while the cuts went away the skin on my penis got dry and flaky and it itches i applied lotions but that only works for a shirt while and the dry flaky itchiness is back i went and got checked for STDs and im clean no stds but i still have that dry flaky itchy skin on my penis that i can literally. Peal off . We stopped having sex cause i realized after wards its the same thing i end up with rips or cuts along the shaft and the process repeats itself . What is it and how can i fix it can i apply correzone 10 will that help ?
Brief Answer:
Seems to be a yeast infection, antifungal treatment.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
It can be transmitted sexually from your sexual partner.
Ask your girlfriend about vaginal discharge and itching? If present she will require antifungal treatment.
I would recommend you to apply antifungal creams like clotrimazole cream or miconazole cream on the affected areas.
Don’t apply cortisone cream as won’t be effective.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
