Would A Brain Tumor Show Up In An MRI Without Contrast?
Question: I recently had a brain mri without contrast. It came back normal. I have been terrified that I have a brain tumor. My question is, would a brain tumor show up on an mri without contrast?
Brief Answer:
Yes!
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.
I am so sorry to hear about this disturbing thought. However, with a normal MRI, you are fine. MRI without contrast is good enough to highlight masses if there is any. Its normal report is very reassuring and there is little to worry about any more.
I hope this helps. I wish you well. Thanks for using our services and let me know if there is something more u would like us to talk about at this time.
