Would Cancer In The Testicle Or Prostate Lead To Pain In My Left Testicle That Radiated To Left Groin Area?

Question: I had pain in my left testicle 2 weeks ago and I ejaculated and it relieved the pain in the testicle but the pain is now dull in the left side of my groin area and it comes and goes. I don't know what it can be. I didn't exercise so its not from an injury and I haven't had sex withanyone so it cant be any STD's. Is this cancer related in the testicle or prostate?
Brief Answer:
Follow up with your primary care provider
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Intermittent testicular pain can occur due to several reasons like torsion, hydrocoele, vericocele and infection (not caused by sexually transmitted bacteria in your case). A clinical examination, urine analysis and culture and ultrasound testis are recommended to come.to a diagnosis. Intermittent pain is unlikely to be cancer as cancer usually present as painless mass. You don't have to worry about cancer at this point.
And please be advised to follow up with your primary care provider for further evaluation and management.

can this have anything to do with the prostate? and how long will this last or go on for?
Brief Answer:
Prostrate enlargement can contribute to infections
Detailed Answer:
Hello again,
Prostrate enlargement by itself is painless. However, patients with prostate enlargement are at risk for genitourinary infections, which can contribute to testicular pain as we discussed earlier. The duration of pain will depend on the underlying cause. And if an infection is present, pain will go away with antibiotics only.
Other causes like hydrocoele amd vericocele may require surgical management for symptom relief.
