Brief Answer:
Tinnitus treatment options

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

Unless the nerve e.g vestibulocochlear nerve was damaged in the procedure, its unlikely to be related to the procedure.

If you were my patient , I would advise low dose amitryptilline along with local application or instilling drops of combination of dexamethasone and ciprofloxacin to ease out any associated inflammation in the middle ear responsible for the buzzing and tinnitus. Alprazolam should also be taken and continued till the resolution or good control.

Avoid loud noises and refrain from consuming any alcohol or caffeine as they may worsen the symptoms.

You may discuss these options with your physician.

Wishing you best of health

Thanks
