Would Low BP And Pulse Rate Be Due To Low Potassium Level While On A Lot Of BP Medication?

Question: My mother is on a lot of high blood pressure medicine. Recently she had to go to the er and found out that her K level was low. They gave her an I've and her blood pressure has been a lot lower since, but her pulse has gone up significantly from previous readings, which where always very low. Is having a pulse rate of 80 and blood pressure around 128/75 good all because her K was low? I haven't given her high blood pressure medicine since her er visit.
Brief Answer:
I would explain as follows.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Regarding your concern, I would explain that potassium supplements can help lower blood pressure values. This explains why her blood pressure values are lower now. Her actual blood pressure values and heart rate are within the normal ranges.
I would just recommend monitoring her blood pressure values in the next days and periodically check her blood electrolytes levels every month.
