Yesterday I Pretty Much Recovered From Stomach Flu No More

Question: Yesterday I pretty much recovered from stomach flu no more temperature. I had diarrhea. I also have IBS and take pantap4azole daily but I stopped taking it the last two days while ive been sick.. Now I'm dealing with constipation(all I ate was potato bread and some soup), really painful and nausea inducing small bowel movements of diarrehea. im not pushing. I just drank some senna lax tea which may not be the best idea but I needed some relief and its pretty mild. im worried about impaction. do i need to go to a doctor or emergency room? or should i go to the pharmacy and get magnesium citrate? I've used it before based on the reccomendation of the doctor
Brief Answer:
Take MIRALAX and wait.
Detailed Answer:
Hello and thank you for choosing "Ask a Doctor" service for your query,
Have seen your details and I appreciate your concerns,
Impaction is not common for a 26 year old.
I would suggest you to take polyethylene glycol(MIRALAX) and wait for 12 hours.
It's an osmotic diuretic and relieves constipation(good thing is that it does so by absorbing water and it does not causes loose motions).
Even if after taking 2 doses of polyethylene glycol things don't get better then you should go to ER.
Polyethylene glycol is over the counter.
Thank you!
Take MIRALAX and wait.
