Question: You answered a few question regarding my WBC count.

It was down to 1.9. In XXXXXXX it went back up to 2.5. About a week ago it was back down to 2.0. I am scheduled for another check on the 11th of this month.

Flow cytometry came back negative.

My latest concern is myeloma. Should I be concerned? I am experiencing some back pain, although I did do some heavy lifting about 3 weeks ago. Red blood cell count and platelet, along with WBC would be low with myeloma, correct?

Brief Answer:
Leucopenia

Detailed Answer:
Dear,
There is moderate bone marrow depression. Many causes attribute to it. since you are concerned with myeloma to remove your doubt it is better to get serum electrophoresis done.
you have your basic investigations done and let us review again.

Thank you for the reply but based on results that have been preaented thus far should I be concerned? Myeloma, if I understand correctly, should also impact red blood cells and platelets which along with WBC would be low.

Thanks
