I am very worried. please help with your opinion. thank you.
Brief Answer:
Doesn’t look like scabies, seems to be folliculitis
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to ask a doctor service.
I have gone through your query and reviewed the attached photographs.
It is not looking like scabies.
It seems to be folliculitis which is inflammation of the hair follicles.
I would recommend you to continue applying mupirocin cream on the affected areas twice daily for 10 days.
Also take an oral antibiotic like tablet cephalexin 500 mg twice daily for 5 days.
This should improve the lesions.
I hope to have answered your query and would be happy to answer any further queries.
Regards
Dr Asmeet
