Question: all of a sudden , i have what looks like a slit in my mouth ,bleeding red blood. did not bit my mouth or anything . to the side of the tongue. will not stop

It could be an apthous ulcer.

Hello,
Thanks for the query.
The symptoms are consistent with bleeding apthous ulcer.
As a first line management you can apply cold saline or crushed ice cubes for pain and control bleeding.
You can apply triamcinolone or other steroid creams also. You have to include more fruits and vegetables to your diet because vitamin deficiency is a major cause for apthous ulcer. You can take multivitamins also.
If symptoms persist, it is better to consult a physician and get evaluated.
