Brief Answer:
Regarding finasteride and remedy for dandruff
Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to ask a doctor service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
As such finasteride won't interfere with your blood testosterone levels so it can be taken along with injection testosterone. It would be in fact a good thing to take oral finasteride while on injection testosterone therapy because many patients would complain of thinning and an increase in hair fall while on testosterone therapy. Finasteride would prevent this induced thinning by inhibiting the conversion of testosterone to Dihydrotestosterone (DHT) which is the main culprit for hair thinning in males.
You seem to also have seborrheic dermatitis of your scalp also known as dandruff, manifesting as itchy, scaly scalp. Minoxidil topical solution may either cause or worsen dandruff on some patients therefore anti-dandruff shampoo is usually a part of therapy for androgenetic alopecia in males. Therefore, you may use this shampoo from J &J. It is a coal tar based shampoo and effective for seborrheic dermatitis of the scalp. If that alone is insufficient then I also suggest you apply a mometasone furoate 0.1% lotion(Elocon lotion), overnight on scalp skin for 2 weeks.
Take care
