Brief Answer:
It is multiple myeloma requiring treatment

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for your query.

This patient has got multiple myeloma, a type of bone marrow cancer. It has affected his bones, causing anemia and increased creatinine. So it requires treatment.

There are many successful induction regimens, like bortezomib dexamethasone thalidomide, or lenalidomide dexamethasone, etc which are given for 4-6 months followed by high dose chemotherapy and autologous stem cell transplant.

With all these, the disease can be controlled for many years but never cured completely.

Hope this helps.
Regards
