Attached Photos Taken Today. I Didnt Observe Her Eyes Before

Question: attached photos taken today. i didnt observe her eyes before
Brief Answer:
Looks like there is some swelling in the eye lids, consult doctor in person
Detailed Answer:
Hello Ms XXXXXXX
Thank you for consulting me on Ask a Doctor service.
I have seen the attached photos of your child.
There seems to be some amount of swelling in the right upper eyelid.
The exact reason cannot be ascertained without a complete physical examination, so I suggest you to consult her pediatrician at the earliest and get it checked out.
Do not apply anything for that without consulting the pediatrician and if required an eye specialist.
I hope that answers your query for now.
Best regards

thanks for the answer sir. looks like some problem with the App. my complete question is posted as 2 different questions.
today i observed the size difference in her both eyes. is this related to the infection or this is ptosis?
i didnt observe her her eyes before like i did today so cant tell you if its there before or not. but she sleeps with half open eyes , single open eye sometimes. some times bith eyes closed. this question is mostly to rule out the ptosis .

Brief Answer:
Children often do this due to poor motor control.
Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX
Welcome back to Ask a Doctor service.
I have gone through the images again and observed the signs you are talking about.
Since she is able to close and open her eyes completely, this does not appear to be worrisome.
Newborn babies tend to have poor motor control in general and it becomes more obvious while they sleep.
You can get her examined by your pediatrician once if you are really worried about it, however, let me reassure you, I do not think it is due to any major issue.
As they develop motor control over the months, they will be able to close their eyes completely even while sleeping.
I hope that clears your doubts, please let me know if I can help you any further.
Best wishes.
