Brief Answer:
possible swelling or edema involving testicle, not noticeable over surface.
Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to Ask A Doctor services.
I have read your query and here is my advise.
* Bumping on testicle wrongly with mild dull ache can be sort of early phase
of underlying tissue swelling or edema involving testis most likely.
My guidelines at present
- Wear loose, cotton inner wears.
- Avoid tight jeans or undergarments.
- Avoid weight lifting ( if involved ).
- Ice application over the sore testicle 5 minutes each 3 times a day helps
to reduce the development of inflammation.
- No need of any analgesic as there is no substantial pain on clinical grounds
- Avoid masturbation or sexual activity ( if involved ) at present to avoid
undue pressure over the parts.
- Drink more liquids to maintain hydration.
Follow up after 24 hours about the progress of the condition and further guidelines or early as per the need.
Wish you best recovery and health.
Thank you.
Regards.

Brief Answer:
testicle torsion not likely. do not panic.
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for the follow up.
* The testicular torsion presents with acute pain of severe scale ( around
more than 7 or 8 out of 10 ) in usual cases.
There is associated nausea, vomiting, abdomen discomfort in majority.
There is no such issues in your case to panic for the same.
So just relax and try to follow simple basic guidelines at present.
If at all there is requirement, we may discuss of consultation with your primary care or an ultrasound examination with doppler report, which is absolutely not necessary in my surgical opinion at present.
Wish you a great day.
