Brief Answer:
You can enter the pool. But avoid weight bearing
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thank you trusting us with your health query
It can take 4 to 6 weeks for the healing process to completely establish following ligament reconstruction. So you must be careful to avoid or minimize weight bearing during this time so that the ligament do not spread apart.
You can enter the pool. However, make sure you are not weight bearing or putting any strain on the affected leg.

Brief Answer:
Nest to wait atleast 4 weeks
Detailed Answer:
Hello again,
It is ideal to wait atleast 4 weeks before doing dorsi or plantar flexion exercises.
During your follow up with the orthopedician, he/she will check the status of the affected ankle and ideally refer you to physiotherapist.
Exercises to strengthen and reduce pain will be started carefully by physiotherapist in a graded fashion.
