Lactihep contains lactitol which helps in relieving constipation and can be safely given at this age in a prescribed dose.
Overdosing may cause loose stool. Sometimes normal dosing may also cause loose stool.In such cases the medicine should be stopped immediately and plenty of fluids should be given to avoid dehydration.
