Question: can paratyphi a and b cause nausea , stomach pain and lasts for months ? because i had it ?

When were you diagnosed as suffering from Paratyphi a and b?
Where exactly is the pain in abdomen?
Type of pain: spasmodic (comes and goes), twisting, burning or so?
Any change in stools?
Noted about nausea: any vomiting, bloating, referred pain to back or so?
Any increasing or reducing factors?

Pain all three specially burning and twisting (upper Gi tract )

Age :32

I have paratyphi a & b 360/1 and 1/40

Stools are almost normal , color brown

Nausea but no vomiting

The possibility as per your history and feedback seems to be as follows:
Gastritis/duodenitis causing the burning sensation.
Get started with a PPI like Omeprazole if it is OTC.
Antacids when on empty stomach.
Domperidone needs a prescription of your Doctor.
The twisting pain can be due to one of the following:
Colitis with spastic colon.
Small intestinal sub-acute obstruction. It can occur if the Enteric fever had any complication.
Hence Take an anti-spasmodic and see the results.
If there is no relief with these measures you need to undergo the following:
CT scan of abdomen gives lots of diagnosis.
Upper GI Endoscopy to know about esophagus, stomach and first part of duodenum - any inflammation, gastritis, ulcer and gives proper diagnosis as well as the proper management.
Enteric fever by Typhi or Paratyphi can cause multiple problems hence needs to pinpoint the cause of your symptoms.
The blood tests can come positive for a long time in spite one is cured of Enteric fever.
Relevant tests of blood, urine and stool.

I did full medical check up , normal results but I still have major upper GI pain specially on empty stomach ! Should I take something for paratyphi ( antibiotics )?

They want to give me ciproflaxin for 14 days to get rid of paratyphi because before they give me 5 days and it didn’t work out , what do you suggest ?
