I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Dry cough could be due to drinking unclean water, candida, allergy, worms. Strictly clean water and adding ghee to foods is needed. Avoid taking any medicine that makes dry cough worse.
Treatment of dry cough depends on the cause. Take a short course of steroids in low doses as nebulizer for few days and Ascoril-C cough syrup one dose at night when cough is bad. Also take a deworming course of single tablet of Albendazole. Also let me know if there is any difficulty in breathing.
If dry cough persists, get Complete blood count (including TLC, DLC, AEC), chest X-ray and test for microfilaria done. Further opinion can be given with more details.
