Brief Answer:
Detailed answer below.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Just inform the anesthesiologist during pre procedure check up that you have sleep apnea.
Doses of anesthetic agents would be reduced/adjusted by them as per that.
Colonoscopy is usually done under very mild sedation by propofol gas inhalation and you would be fully conscious and oriented in 15 minutes They will keep you for an hour for observation.
After that you are normal.
Please feel free to follow up.
Thanks.

1. so in your opinion I should not have any breathing related concerns after the procedure due to sleep apnea?

2. I usually sleep in an inclined bed in the night, which I was planning on using the night after the procedure.
