Nothing to worry.

Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
Bone lesion means benign or malignant tumor.
The report say there is no tumor or infection in left ilium,a lucent lesion is present in your left ilium which is of same size as it is on 10/7/2014. it means it is benign(not dangerous)

Okay. But what can it be? What is a bone lesion? If it’s not a tumor or anything like that? Can it be a cyst? How do they know it’s benign?

Also, you said "Bone lesion means benign or malignant tumor. The report say there is no tumor or infection in left ilium." If I have a lesion, but it is saying its not a tumor, then what do i have? Don't lesion mean tumor in other words?
Brief Answer:
This can be a bone cyst.
Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Thanks for writing again.
A benign lucent lesion can be a bone cyst. Since the lesion is stable in size and has not increased in last five years it is a benign lesion.
Lesion means an abnormality. Tumor means any swelling but here it refers to any malignancy as tumor refers to a malignancy in layman's terms.
Hope my answer is helpful.
