Question: did my health check up and a TMT test. Doctor furthur adivised angiography. Firstly i did CT angio which showed a plaque causing 40-50% luminal diameter reduction in the LAD.
Agaion i did angio graphy which showed 70% blockage. Doctor is recommending angio plasty.
My age is 39 and have no complaint per se. I am pretty competitiove .
Shall I go for angioplasty or not.

After going through the reports attached by you I can understand your concern and I would like to tell you that 70% of proximal LAD stenosis is a significant disease and there is at risk of getting heart attack if there is a progression of the disease.

Now taking into consideration your young age and and evidence of having a 70% lesion there are possibilities that the disease progresses rate can be substantial.

Leaving this condition just on medical treatment is not recommended. So yes it’s important to get an angioplasty done as soon possible and till the time it’s done do not indulge yourself in significant physical activity.
