Dizzy And Light Headed For About An Hour And Maybe

Question: dizzy and light headed for about an hour and maybe just maybe a faint tingling of the tongue
Brief Answer:
Low blood pressure is a possibility.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for the query.
The symptoms are more consistent with low blood pressure or hypotension. Sharp fall in the blood sugar can also lead to same symptoms especially when you skip a meal.
You can check your blood pressure level to check whether it is in the normal range or not.
If the symptoms persist or there is any weakness of one side of body, you have to get an MRI brain done.
Hope I have answered your query.
Thanks

I was dizzy for about 80mins and had a slight tingly tongue. And i think i had a dry mouth. what does this mean??

Hello
Over the last 4 days or so i haven't had any salt or brown sugar to my diet i have eaten VERY plain, bland food. Could this be the reason for my dizziness?
and tongue tingly faintly?
Thank you, sorry for overlooking this.

Brief Answer:
Diet may be the reason
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
As I said earlier a fall in blood pressure or blood sugar may be the cause for dizzy spells.
As you mentioned, your diet has got no salt and which can cause fall in blood pressure and may be reason for the dizzy spell.
Nothing much to worry and drink plenty or water and salter fluids if you develop the symptoms again.
Thanks

I forgot to also add i have been on a very limited diet for over 2 months and for the last 4 days or so literally no salt in my diet.
So how long will it take me to turn this around? and resolve my low blood pressure?
To give you a better picture about a month ago at the Doctors office they tested and told me my blood pressure was fine then.

Brief Answer:
Lack of sodium may be the salt.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Low sodium level in the body can also cause these symptoms.
If you asymptomatic and no further attacks, no need to worry.
You have to consume required salt through diet.
Thanks
