Brief Answer:
TVS can identify hyperplasia. Biopsy is required to differentiate type

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I understand your concerns.

You are right . Transvaginal ultrasound (TVS) will identify the hyperplasia of endometrium as thickness of endometrium is higher in cases of endometrial hyperplasia.

However, TVS cannot distinguish between different types of hyperplasia like typical or atypical hyperplasia. Endometrial biopsy will be required to differentiate once the hyperplasia is identified.
