Brief Answer:
Carvedilol often causes fatigue

Detailed Answer:
Hello, I'm Dr. Branch, thanks for using Ask a Doctor.

Carvedilol is a beta-blocker, all of which are known to cause fatigue (in up to 24% of patients). Leg swelling is less common (around 1-3% of patients) but is also known to occur with carvedilol. So especially if you notice these symptoms after taking it, I would suspect that it is the cause. I would recommend you discuss these side effects with your doctor, and depending on the reason you are taking it, maybe another medication could be used instead, which might not have such severe effects for you.

I hope that helps, please let me know if you have any questions about any of that, and I would be glad to discuss it with you further.
